Frequently Asked Questions
Q.How long can I keep the dumpster?
A.Rental time is based on calendar days, not hours.
For example, if your dumpster is delivered on Monday and picked up on Thursday, that counts as 3 days.
If you need more time, additional days are $20 per day
Q.How does extra weight (overage) work?
A.Each rental includes a set amount of weight. If you go over, additional weight is charged at $80 per ton, prorated.
For example, if you go over by half a ton, you would be charged $40.
If you go over by 0.25 tons, you would be charged $20.
Q.Can I load concrete, dirt, or heavy materials?
A.Yes, but heavy materials like concrete, dirt, brick, and roofing shingles can add weight very quickly and may exceed the included weight limit.
A full dumpster of these materials will almost always result in additional charges at $80 per ton, prorated.
If you’re planning to dispose of heavy materials, it’s best to let us know ahead of time so we can help you choose the right option.
Q.What can I put in the dumpster?
A.You can load most household junk, construction debris, furniture, and general trash.
Q.What items are not allowed?
A.Paint, batteries, refrigerators, freezers, AC units, oil, gasoline, tires, and other hazardous materials are not allowed.
Q.Do I need to be there for delivery or pickup?
A.No. As long as we have clear placement instructions and the area is accessible, you do not need to be on site.
Q.Where can the dumpster be placed?
A.Dumpsters are typically placed in driveways or job sites. Let us know ahead of time if placement is tight or if you have a rear-facing driveway.
Q.How full can I load the dumpster?
A.Materials must be loaded level with the top edge of the dumpster. Nothing can stick up above the fill line.
Q.What happens if I go over the fill line?
A.If the dumpster is overloaded, we may not be able to safely haul it. You may be asked to remove items or excess material may be offloaded on-site.
Q.What happens if rain adds weight to the dumpster?
A.Rainwater can add weight to your load. All tonnage is based on landfill scale weight.
Q.What happens if the dumpster isn’t ready for pickup?
A.If the dumpster is blocked, overloaded, or not accessible at the time of pickup, a $100 trip fee may apply.
Q.What do I need to do before pickup?
A.Please make sure the dumpster is accessible and clear of vehicles or obstacles so we can safely remove it.
Q.Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
A.We take care during delivery and pickup, but dumpsters are heavy and may cause surface wear or damage, especially on softer materials.
Q.Can you move the dumpster after it’s been delivered?
A.Yes, but a trip fee may apply depending on the situation..
Q.When do I get charged?
A.Payment is typically processed at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.
Q.Can I extend my rental?
A.Yes, but we require notice before your scheduled pickup date. Additional days are $20 per day.
Q.Do you offer same-day delivery? .
A.We do our best to accommodate same-day requests depending on availability, but scheduling in advance is recommended.
Q.Are there refunds for unused days?
A.No. Once the dumpster is delivered, rental time is reserved and not refundable if unused.
Q.What is your cancellation policy?
A.We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Q.Do I need a permit?
A.If the dumpster is placed on private property, no permit is needed. If it will be placed on a street or public area, check with your local city requirements.
